When I think of an odd metered mashup, I think of what is perhaps the earliest mashup ever - a mash of the Mission Impossble Theme mashed with Norwegian Wood by the Alan Copeland Singers back when I was a small lad in 1969. It even won a Grammy for "Best Contemporary Pop Performance, Chorus"! Go figure.... In the meantime, have at this oldie of mine from 3 or 4 years ago.... The 'mental is in in 3/4 time, and the vocals were defintely not, so it was kind of hard to make. It was also my tribute to Aussies in films, I guess. It's a mash-up of film composer Gustavo Santaolalla's "Theme from Brokeback Mountain" starring the late, great Heath Ledger, and young Quindon Tarver's take on "Everybody's Free" from Aussie director Baz Luhrman's "Romeo + Juliet". It was originally made right after Brokeback came out. "Everybody's Free On Brokeback Mountain"voicedude.multiply.com/journal/item/16/a_tribute_to_the_late_great_Heath_Ledger- Voicedude
