Hey, just found another list of songs in odd-meters that is more complete than the ones I posted in the intro. dkap.info/oddtime.shtmlIt's not completely verified or accurate, as the author himself says, but it's definitely helpful. Off to mail him about Primus - My Name Is Mud (it's in 4, not 5, it just has weird accents). ;D

Yeah, thank your for this link ! There are two great songs in odd-meters that are not listed in any site : - Asian Dub Foundation - Scaling New Heights (a good instrumental song in 7/4) - Tangerine Dream - Atlas Eyes (in 10/8)

Thanks!
Regarding that list: Many of the songs only have parts in those time signatures, and some of the listings are simply inaccurate.
If you end up previewing a tune to mash and realize it's e.g. only 7/4 during the intro and then 4/4 or whatever or that the listing is simply wrong, feel free to take a minute and e-mail the guy who compiled it. He appreciates it! (and he's even registered here)

Thanks for the shout out about my page, not-I. I appreciate it. I will try to improve it as time permits. And you're correct, if anyone has questions about the songs there, feel free to contact me via email, or via the contact info listed on my site.
Regarding the issue about songs with only sections in various odd times, I still haven't really figured out a good way to annotate that. I think I may go with something like giving the time in the song (mm:ss) when the meter changes. Or if I'm really ambitious, I may start doing actual charts of the songs. But that would take ages to do, so it's not likely to have much traction for a while.
Best of luck with your site! I love the idea of the mashups. Sounds like a blast!
Dave
